Lagarta Lodge offers comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms with verandas. There are a multitude of breathtaking views, a reception desk, a sun deck, a panorama deck, restaurant, Sunset Bar and a lounge. Other amenities include two infinity pools, a Jacuzzi, a pool with wet bar, children's pool, spa, shop, art exhibition, a seminar and event room, and an adjacent nature reserve.

In our restaurant we serve only the very best quality – generally organically grown local products. You can try a Costa Rican specialty or a dish from our international kitchen – complete with your choice of wine from our select wine cellar.

Two infinity pools, a Jacuzzi, a pool with wet bar and a children's pool offer a magnificent view over  tropical forests, rivers, and ocean and invite you to long, relaxing visits. The pools are magically embedded in the bluff and set in manicured gardens.

Lagarta Lodge is situated in the middle of pristine nature on Costa Rica’s Nicoya peninsula. The adjacent nature reserve Reserva Biológica offers guests the opportunity to become acquainted with native plants and animals.

Our house has a small art exhibition, for example at the Gecko Lounge. The collection contains artefacts of the Maleku tribe: objects in which magical thinking and cultural traditions are given artistic expression.
